The mission of New Beginning Community Church is centered on freedom through Jesus Christ.  While the central thrust of our mission is singular, the structure of our mission is twofold focusing both on our leadership and on our membership.

The mission of our leaders is to live in and through the freedom that Jesus Christ brings and to help others find and live in His freedom, too.  The people we are called to reach are that of Isaiah 61:

Isaiah 61

The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, because the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound; 2 to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all who mourn; 3 to grant to those who mourn in Zion— to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a faint spirit; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he may be glorified. 4 They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.

The primary method and teaching tool to accomplish this task is based on God’s original design.  God created all of us to be His masterpiece of divine design, planned long ago (cf. Ephesians 2:10 and Psalm 139:13-14).

Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

Psalm 139:13-14

13 For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.

The mission of our members is to find freedom through Jesus Christ and to live in that freedom.
